Annabelle Marquis Documentary

How do you become a professional artist? Is it enough to have talent? Want to? To persevere? Discover the point of view of two artists: Annabelle Marquis, a painter, reveals the approach behind her canvases with which she has lived for more than ten years. Charles-William is a young filmmaker who followed Annabelle for more than a year, camera in hand, thus simultaneously walking through this same existential questioning.

WATCH DOCUMENTARY

This documentary resulted from an unexpected encounter between a painter and a young filmmaker. The idea of carrying out a magnificent project came from their first exchange. Without a budget and funding, simply for the love of art, these two artists wanted to express a familiar feeling: The desire to be an artist.

Charles-William is a young director who graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal in one of his province's most prestigious film programs.
